Jamaica’s Fine Artist Sebastian Elliott to debut 2018 Progressive Art show in Brazil As the former founder and director of Jamaica Academic Institute and Mandeville Art Foundation, Sebastian operates an art program which seeks to develop the artistic talents of individuals. His upcoming 2018 Progressive Art Tour is designed to showcase the rudiments of his profession and mentorship
Sebastian Elliott is of Jamaican nationality who studied art at Northern Caribbean University (NCU). During his tenure at NCU, Elliott obtained departmental awards and also had a history of academic excellence. He later studied under the tutelage and mentorship of world acclaimed Jamaican master painter, Prof. the Hon. Barrington Watson, OJ, CD, whom he worked with for seven years. He was awarded a certificate in recognition of his years of training which Elliott worked tirelessly to earn in August 2015. Even then, Elliott continued his lessons with the master until his death in February 2016 
Elliott is currently the former  founder and director of Jamaica Academic Institute and Mandeville Art Foundation. He has participated in numerous local and international art exhibitions in countries such as the United States, Canada, Trinidad, Bahamas, Cayman and his homeland Jamaica. His works are a part of numerous private and co-operate collections both locally and internationally including the Bank of Jamaica, Scotia Bank, Northern Caribbean University and Symmetry, one of the world’s largest American-based network marketing companies
La Galeria de Sebastian Art Program was founded six years ago for the development of artistic talent and to create opportunities for emerging talents.
