Making Anthropology Album

The Short Film depicts the story behind the Anthropology titled song and album.The primary theme of the overall production is evenly distributed; depicts songs that are of scientific, human societal behavior in the past and present. 

The “Behind The Scenes” production boasts a few firsts; local and international collaborations that addresses the hows and whys of the titled Anthropology production. The production showcases the importance and relevance of reggae music to the African continents, highlighting other local Zimbabwean Artists with collaborative tracks on the album project, such as Dhadza D, Promics, Eyetal Fyah and Hilcardin. There’s a brief appearance within the short film by fellow Zimbabwean local recording artist - Tocky Vibes, Kenya's recording Artist - Wyre and Ghana's finest - Samini.

The video is a factual life-story experience of unfortunate situations surrounding Domestic Violence. Olympian Dr. Sharrieffa Barksdale dedicates her "Strong Women" song and video to Domestic Violence survivors in wake of October - Domestic Violence Awareness month.

The setting for this “When You Cry” track is a wedding theme that includes invitations in preparation for a beautiful ceremony dancing to sweet reggae music.

Tired Feet

Jo-1, a resident of Nairobi, Kenya & citizen of the world was born and raised in Bermuda. She has formal training in West African Dance, Modern Contemporary dance, Lyrical & Ballet coupled with East African traditional dances combined with her love for Hip Hop & Dancehall. Joanne believes that dance for her is a gift and that her gift of freedom through dance helps to liberate and bring healing and health to others. 

Better known by her stage name Judge Jo-1, she is a Multi-talented Dancer, Choreographer, Singer and Songwriter.
